The new lightbox function and many other improvements are here
CELUM is constantly working on optimizing its own user interface and the entire user experience to keep the content supply chain management system up to date. We have taken a close look under the new hood and are completely convinced by the new features.
Lightbox - An enlightenment for working on assets in parallel
First of all, there is the new Lightbox function that many have been waiting for, as it will make working on multiple assets much easier.
Previously, when working on several assets in parallel, you had to switch between the individual collections and lists, which took time. In addition, it was not easy to quickly compare the assets with each other.
With the new lightbox, users now have their own area in which they can simply add the assets they are working on so that they are available locally. They can compare them quickly without having to navigate through lists and collections.
The user can also perform several actions for the assets together, such as editing them, sharing them or creating asset relationships.
NOVA UI for all areas
Another innovation is the complete replacement of the Advanced user interface with the current NOVA UI. With its modern and streamlined design, the NOVA UI is very intuitive and simplifies personal navigation with the Recent and Favorite functions, for example.
The new Resource Center
The new interactive Resource Center provides help on how to use the individual CELUM applications, which can be accessed via specific page contexts.
The assistance includes various features:
- The overview tour, which provides the user with an overview of certain functions and areas
- The step-by-step guide, which explains functions in detail by following certain steps
- Q&A tours, which are rather short and help to solve typical problems
- Pop-up tours that automatically inform users about new changes to the user interface
Additional new features in CELUM 24.4
In addition to the major new features described above, there are also some minor improvements. These include:
- A new search and filter widget that allows you to search for assets according to the upload date
- The search widget "Search in Collection" can now also be used by power users in the advanced search
And last but not least: Admins can now create an asset preview in the context and magic menu and therefore no longer have to switch to the advanced user interface.
