B2B communication in the industry often goes hand in hand with a complex digital media processing chain involving a whole range of systems and organisational units. Accordingly, many different stakeholders are involved, from internal departments to external service providers. In addition, the market is increasingly forcing companies to offer digital services that must be built across heterogeneous system landscapes and complex organisational structures. 


## A treasure trove of data
As a marketing decision-maker, you are challenged to manage this distributed data and media, a growing number of communication channels and diverse markets. What's more, marketing today is more fast-moving than ever. This afternoon we will look at how you can harness the wealth of data in your own organisation and use it for marketing and communications.

After **arrival and welcome**, our consultants Michael Ochtrop and Mischa Wolfframm will give an impulse on the topic. Based on their practical experience, the participants experience where media and data are often ‘hidden’ in organisations - entertaining and also a little cheeky.

Afterwards, Turck's **success story** will give us concrete recommendations for action and insights into which strategies and methods were relevant in the project and how they can also be effective for your own initiatives.

Our **workshop** is about developing ideas and solutions for specific tasks. By taking on predefined roles, different perspectives are made possible, which breaks up entrenched thinking and enables balanced assessments and decisions.

We end the afternoon in a cosy atmosphere with drinks and snacks.

Nach **Ankommen und Begrüßung** geben unsere Consultants Michael Ochtrop und Mischa Wolfframm einen Impuls zum Thema. Anhand ihrer Erfahrungen aus der Praxis erleben die Teilnehmer, wo Medien und Daten in den Organisationen häufig "verborgen" liegen - unterhaltsam und auch ein bisschen frech.

Anschließend gibt uns die **Erfolgsgeschichte von Turck** konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen und Einblicke darüber, welche Strategien und Methoden im Projekt relevant waren und wie sie auch für die eigenen Initiativen wirksam werden können.

In unserem **Workshop** geht es darum, Ideen und Lösungen für bestimmte Aufgabenstellungen zu entwickeln. Durch die Einnahme vorgegebener Rollen werden unterschiedliche Perspektiven ermöglicht, die festgefahrene Denkstrukturen aufbrechen und ausgewogene Bewertungen und Entscheidungen ermöglichen.

It's that time again: For the second time this year, executives from the upper midmarket and corporations are meeting with solution providers and IT service providers from the digital sector in Berlin. The challenges in B2B digital business, especially in digital marketing and e-commerce, are as diverse as they are crucial for success. In addition to the digital customer journey, the focus is on topics such as digitalization, sustainability and the shortage of skilled workers. The increasing demands on the handling of customer data also require increased attention, especially against the backdrop of new framework conditions and regulations.

For B2B companies, this means driving the transformation forward even faster and pursuing a digital-first strategy. AI is increasingly coming into focus and offers growing potential for optimizing processes and tapping into new revenue streams. 

We are particularly pleased to contribute to this conference with a presentation and case study from our long-standing customer Turck.

Turck has been a PIM user from the very beginning. A PIM system has been in use there worldwide since 1999. After 25 years, the previous system now had to be replaced. **PIM reloaded - same same, but different**
Turck ist PIM Anwender der ersten Stunde. Seit 1999 ist dort ein PIM System weltweit im Einsatz. Nach 25 Jahren musste das bisherige System nun ersetzt werden. Welche Schwierigkeiten und Chancen sich dabei ergaben, wie der technologischen Fortschritt heute zu anderen Lösungsparadigmen führt, ob die Unterschiede wirklich so groß sind und wie sich die Anforderungen an ein PIM System sich weiterentwickelt haben - darum soll es in diesem Vortrag gehen.

**Rahmenprogramm:** An beiden Veranstaltungstagen gibt es Networking Sessions zum besseren Kennenlernen. The ECC FORUM on the (live) stage again this year!
The e-commerce event on the top trends in B2C and B2B retail at the SANAA Haus at Zollverein: For us, a celebration of digital business at a place in our city where history meets modernity.

Prior to that, he managed digitalization projects in the areas of digital marketing, e-commerce and knowledge management in various positions.
