K5 - the class reunion of the commerce world in Berlin
In addition to the good food and the nice atmosphere, it was above all a class reunion of retail and commerce experts, professionals and those who want to become one. Fortunately, almost all of our technology partners were represented and presented their solutions and customer projects. This enabled us to discuss specific solutions with partners and interested parties, including cross-system solutions. In addition, the spectrum of topics on the stages and in the master classes ranged from the digital transformation of analog processes or the business model to clever, market-oriented price calculation.
Of course, AI was the much-cited keyword that is currently shaking up the industry at all levels. It is therefore no surprise, and no less complex, that the topic of PIM took up a lot of space this year. The availability of structured data and media and a high degree of automation ensure the necessary speed - for AI assistants, this is simply a must. Companies need to rely on smart data structures and processes in order to remain competitive before growing marketplaces and social selling could overtake the corporate webshop.
It's not easy for entrepreneurs to keep track of all the options. But that's what we're here for.
Exchange on PIM projects, data models and AI workflows
This year at the K5 Future Retail Conference in Berlin: Together with our partner ATAMYA, our colleagues Michael Ochtrop and Philipp Reichardt were there to talk about current PIM projects and technological developments. As a service provider for individual PIM solutions, we had numerous interesting discussions with companies interested in interface design, data modeling and modern workflow options. The focus was particularly on topics such as product data referencing and the targeted use of AI services in new PIM processes.
