Store relaunch: communicode once again stages "Breuninger world" online

E. Breuninger GmbH & Co. has commissioned communicode with the complete rebuilding of their online store in order to be able to cope with the previous growth and the growth expected in the future.

As an exclusive fashion retailer, Breuninger offers its customers a unique shopping experience and sets standards in fashion and lifestyle throughout Germany. communicode was already strategically and technologically connected to Breuninger through the initial implementation of the online store and therefore once again took over the project planning and implementation in close cooperation with Breuninger. In this context, communicode was responsible for the entire project process - from the technical conception to the customer specific extension of the system platform and software, up to the overall integration of all systems. In the case of the store relaunch, the focus was on the one hand on the expansion of the store system according to the client's requirements.

On the other hand, the precise integration of other processes such as payment, logistics, web tracking as well as search and merchandising functionalities posed a particular challenge. Before going live, the project was continuously subjected to a joint and in-depth quality assurance process to ensure that the launch of the new online store would be a success. Coordination of the live launch and migration of all information into the new system were also part of the scope of services. The high availability of the store will be ensured by communicodes' operational support.

Latest e-commerce platform for the online store For the technological basis of the online store, a state-of-the-art e-commerce system was implemented. With this system, all requirements for a successful online store are met.

Additional tools for web analytics and marketing campaigns

The store interacts with a newly integrated marketing tool. With this tool, marketing campaigns can be configured and implemented at the right time. In the process, a large part of the data stock is transferred from the e-commerce platform to the marketing module. There, the data is prepared specifically for planned campaigns. Furthermore, a powerful search function and navigation is also integrated into the store.

In addition, a store monitor module was implemented. With the analysis results from this module, the planned marketing campaigns can be tailored even more precisely to the relevant target groups.

Integration of all software components

All software components are highly integrated into Breuninger's IT landscape, ensuring optimal interaction.

Breuninger's server landscape also had to be restructured to meet the increased requirements. This makes the overall system redundant, highly available and scalable.
